Jaco joined Veritas in May 2026 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® Professional with more than a decade of experience helping clients align their financial decisions with the lives they want to live.

He holds a BCom in Financial Planning and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and is passionate about building long-term relationships and guiding clients through every stage of their financial journey.

After recently spending a short period at a practice with a strong focus on alternative investments, Jaco realised that his true passion lies in helping people achieve balance, clarity and confidence through comprehensive lifestyle financial planning. Joining Veritas felt like a natural fit, allowing him to focus on what he enjoys most – working closely with clients to create meaningful, personalised financial plans that support both their goals and their lifestyles.

Outside of work, Jaco enjoys staying active and making the most of the outdoors. Whether he’s running, in the gym, playing golf or padel or walking his two Golden Retrievers on the mountain, he values an active and balanced lifestyle. He is also an avid traveller and has recently explored destinations including Italy, Turkey, Greece, Spain, the UK, Mauritius, Dubai and Japan with his wife, Shelley.

A passionate sports fan, bird watcher and lover of good company, Jaco’s ideal weekend is spent outdoors with family and friends, enjoying a relaxed braai and a good glass of wine.
