Heidi Young

Heidi joined Veritas Wealth in December 2015. She has a diploma in marketing management and certificates in bookkeeping & financial accounting.

Heidi started her career in the administration space at Trilinear Investment Managers as a private client portfolio administrator. She then joined Sanlam Multi Managers as a fund administrator and support. It was through mountain biking that she was introduced to RECM as a unit trust retail fund administrator.

Heidi began her journey into financial planning when she became a paraplanner in 2022. With her background in marketing management, bookkeeping, and financial accounting, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role.  She is currently studying for her Higher Certificate in Financial Planning, part-time through Milpark

She is married and a mother of two strong-willed children. She is passionate about her ‘fur babies’ and is a friend of all animals. Her ideal weekend is spent outdoors or in her garden. Heidi also enjoys a few rounds in the boxing ring; she believes that sparring with a partner or punching bag is a great way to unwind and practice mindfulness.
