Paraplanner

Monica joined Veritas Wealth as a Paraplanner in September 2025, supporting the advisory team in creating tailored financial plans for clients.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from North-West University, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State.

Monica was born in the Free State, but started her career in Pretoria, before moving to Johannesburg to continue building her experience as a Paraplanner.  She has built her career as a Paraplanner, gaining valuable experience in holistic financial planning, investment analysis, and client service.

In 2024, Monica relocated to Cape Town with her little sister, first settling in Somerset West, before recently making Pinelands their new home.

Monica is passionate about helping families make confident financial decisions and is currently working towards her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® designation. She values building long-term relationships with clients, where trust, clarity, and care are at the heart of every plan.

Beyond her role at Veritas, Monica has a deep love for financial literacy and hopes to one day use her teaching background to educate people about the importance of making wise financial decisions.

Outside of work, Monica loves spending time with her family,  who are her closest friends, and she is happiest when listening to good music or on the dance floor.
