Nazly and I held our first job interview at Nando’s in Tokai and much to Naz’s amusement at my perspiring and hiccupping all the way through, due to the spicy food, she agreed to join me. Nazly moved into or office on Beau Constantia and from that day on, I felt that my business had started, and she has been the heart of our office ever since.
With nearly four decades of experience in financial services, Nazly brings invaluable dedication and care to everything she does. As one of our trusted administrators, she oversees all investment servicing requirements and liaises closely with service providers – always ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. In the wealth management business, seamless and professional administration is crucial, and Nazly has consistently delivered this with grace and efficiency.
Nazly’s vibrant personality is reflected in her beautiful and dramatic attire, adding energy to our office. She is always up for a chat and a good laugh and is very cherished by colleagues and clients alike.
Unlike many administrators who are tucked away in a corner, we have always positioned Nazly in a prominent spot in the office. When clients walk in, she is typically the second face they see, beaming back at them. As our business has grown, one of her frustrations has been fewer opportunities to chat and interact with clients. However, it is always heartwarming to see older clients seek her out at the end of their meetings.
Today, Nazly is a proud grandmother of three. Her three children, born five years apart, have all achieved great success. Adnaan, the eldest, holds an MBA and a CFP, and has worked at Allan Gray, SA Coin Exchange and now with FNB Wealth. Widad, with a law degree, has worked as a compliance officer in various financial services companies. The youngest, Bilqees, is currently practicing as a physiotherapist in London but plans to return to South Africa soon.
We had the privilege of attending Widad’s wedding a few years ago, an unforgettable experience for me as an Irish Catholic. Last year, we celebrated Nazly’s 60th birthday with her husband Ashraf and their three children, enjoying a night out and even a dance.
Here’s to 20 years of loyalty, laughter and leadership. Thank you, Nazly – you are truly one of a kind!

Well Done Nazly! It is always reassuring when you see employees happy at a firm for so long. It says a lot about yourself and also about the team.
Friendly, helpful and efficient ever since my first dealings with Nazly at Beau Constance.
Well done on your landmark 20 years!
